Regular HPV testing is also advised as part of preventive measures, especially for women over the age of 30.<\/p>\n<h2>What is Human Papillomavirus (HPV)?<\/h2>\n<p>Human Papillomavirus (HPV) is <em>a group of over 200 viruses that cause skin and mucous membranes infections.<\/em> Certain types of HPV can cause changes such as warts and condylomas.
